Joseph Mendenhall 
Joseph was born on May 17th, 1692 in Concord, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Joseph's father was Benjamin Mendenhall and his mother was Ann Pennell. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Mendenhall and Joane Strode; his maternal grandparents are Robert Pennell and Hanna Hyandson. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin Jr., Moses, Samuel, Nathan, Robert, Ann, Hanna, Rebecca and Ann. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 56 on October 18th, 1748 in Chester County, Pennsylvania.General Notes
