Benjamin was born on April 14th, 1662 in Ramsbury, Wiltshire, England. Benjamin's father was Thomas Mendenhall and his mother was Joane Strode. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Mendenhall and his paternal grandmother is UNKNOWN Anne; his maternal grandparents were William Anthony Jr. Strode and Margery Barley. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John M., Stephen, Moses, Aaron, George, Mary, Margery and Joan. He died at the age of 78 in 1740.General Notes
