Randall was born in 1775 in Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia). Randall's father was John Largent and his mother was Christina Catherine Ross. His paternal grandparents were Jean L'Argent and UNKNOWN Rachel. He had four brothers and a sister, named Lewis, Aaron, Abraham, Moses and Phebe. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named John, James, William, Thomas, Nelson, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann, Sarah and Jane. He died in Montgomery County, Indiana.General Notes
