Vsevolod I of was born in 1030 in Pereyaslavl, Kiev, Ukraine, Russia.  Vsevolod I of's father was Yaroslav I the Wise Vladimirovich of Kiev and his mother was Ingigerd (Anna) Olafsdottir of Sweden.  His paternal grandparents were Vladimir (St.) the Great Swjatoslawitsch of Kiev and Rogneda von Polotzk; his maternal grandfather was Olaf III Skotkonung Ericson of Sweden and his maternal grandmother is Astrid of the Obotrites. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Valdimar (Holti) the Nimble of, Viacheslav of, Izyaslav I Dmitrij of, Svyatoslav II of, Igor of, Anastasia Agmunda Yaroslavna of, Ellisif (Elizabeth) Jaroslavna of and Anna Agnesa Yaroslavna of. He had a half-brother named Elias of.  He died at the age of 63 on April 13th, 1093.
