James Hambleton 
James was born on January 5th, 1754 in Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. James' father was Stephen Hambleton and his mother was Hannah Paxson. His paternal grandparents were James Hambleton and Mary Beakes; his maternal grandparents were James Paxson and Margaret Hodges. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Jonas, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Jane, Rachel, Margaret and Mary. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 79 on January 27th, 1833 in Drumore Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
