George Gilpin 
George was born on April 16th, 1708 in Cave near Brandywine Creek south of Dilworthtown, Birmingham Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. George's father was Joseph Gilpin and his mother was Hannah Glover. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Giplin and Joan Bartholomew; his maternal grandparents were George Glover and Alice Lamboll. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, Joseph, Isaac, Moses, Alice, Ruth, Ann, Sarah, Lydia, Hannah, Rachel and Esther. He died at the age of 65 on October 15th, 1773 in Birmingham Township, Pennsylvania.-
