Andrew Jennings Gilkerson 
Andrew Jennings was born in 1905. Andrew Jennings' father was James Madison Gilkerson and his mother was Edna Malvern Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Robert Shanklin Gilkerson and Elizabeth Ellen Kincaid; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Lewis Johnson and Martha Ellen Meadows. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Ernest Everett, James Edward, Infant Boy, Bertha Malvern, Bethel Brooke, Annie Lewis and Martha Florence. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 78 in 1983.-
