He had four brothers and five sisters, named Charles of, Carloman of St. Medard, Carloman of St. Medard, Louis II the Stammerer of, Ermentrude (Hersent) of, Judith of the West, Rothilde, Gisele of the West and Hildegard of the West. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Drogo of the West, Charles of the West, Pippin of the West, Rothilde of the West and Roheut (Rothaut) of. He died at the age of 18 in 0865.-
