Peter (P)olck & Elizabeth Schober with daughter, Judith and what looks to
be 2 grandchildren; and a copy of a page out of the "Haines & Worman's
Emmaus Directory" dated about 1894 (sent to Sara by Mr. Russell
Kerstetter, Emmaus,PA).  Sara Louise Sukol is a descendant of Susannah
Elizabeth Folk (daughter of Solomon Folk and Elizabeth Boyer Folk, sister
of Carolus Judicus Folk).
Peter may be the son of Carolus/Carl Volck born August 25, 1757 in
Pennsylvania who is a son of Carolus/Carl Volck born on November 18, 1708
onboard the ship GLOBE on its way from Germany to America. This
Carolus/Carl was the son of Andreas Volck and his wife Anna Catharina
Merkel- both born in Germany. OR He could be the son of Philip Folk and
Eve Kimmel who were married before 1790 in Richmond Township, Berks
County, Pennsylvania but I have not found him listed yet among their
children even though that would be the right time period. OR He could be
the son of Hans Peter Folk and Catharine Frey (and brother of Daniel Folk
born 9 DEC 1791 in Berks County, Pennsylvania).
He may be the Peter Folk who is listed on the 1830 census (page 373) as a
resident of Greenwich Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
Did he have a sister Maria E. "Kate" Folk born 1803? I've listed her
family here in the family tree only as a good possibility-further
research is needed in order to prove any relationship. She married Samuel
Heffner.
