Mary was born in Pendleton County, Virginia. Mary's father was John Fisher and her mother is Ann Miller. Her paternal grandparents were George Fisher and Elizabeth Conrad. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Zebulon, William, John Jr., Frances, Phoebe and Elizabeth.General Notes
Some sources list her birth in 1762 with her parents as George Fisher and
Elizabeth Conrad Fisher (here listed as her grandparents). She is not
listed in Oren Morton's A History of Pendleton County, WV as a child of
George and Elizabeth, but is listed as being in the "Line of John".
