His paternal grandparents were Reginald I de Mohun and Alice de Briwere; his maternal grandparents were Geoffrey FitzPiers de Mandeville and Aveline de Clare. He had two sisters named Lucy and Alice. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Isabel. He died in 1254.-
