Anna Catharina was born on May 24th, 1767 in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Anna Catharina's father was Johan Adam Desch and her mother was Maria Gertraut Wagner. Her maternal grandparents were Hans Jacob Wagner and Anna Maria Jung. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Johan Jacob, Johann Philip, Maria, Elisabetha and Salome. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 42 on November 6th, 1809. She was buried in Upper Milford Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.General Notes
