Simon Crosiar 
Simon was born on March 12th, 1836 in Utica, La Salle County, Illinois. Simon's father was William Crosiar and his mother was Isabel J. Cooper. His paternal grandparents were John Simon Crosiar and Jane Hert. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William Henry, Jesse, Nancy, Sarah Francis and Isabel S.. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 on December 27th, 1906 in Smithfield, Monroe County, Indiana.General Notes
