Bessie May Crosiar 
Bessie May was born on July 31st, 1891 in Rudstation, Lawrence County, Indiana. Bessie May's father was Simon Crosiar and her mother was Susannah Shields. Her paternal grandparents were William Crosiar and Isabel J. Cooper; her maternal grandparents were Alfred Shields and Phoebe Loe Collins. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Aden Deamus, Thomas Jefferson, Elmer Orval, Arizona, Daisy Lee, Algie Phebe and Anna Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Will and Sarah. She died at the age of 67 on April 18th, 1959.-
