Agnes Jane was born on February 17th, 1833 in Tennessee. Agnes Jane's father is Edmond E. Cheatham and her mother is Anna Unknown. Her paternal grandparents were Joel Sr. Cheatham and Rhoda League. She had three brothers and a sister, named Samuel, E. C., Archibald and Rhoda (Rody). She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 63 on April 19th, 1896. She was buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Franklin, TX - Robertson Co..
Agnes Jane and Davis Alexander (Alec) were married in a religious ceremony about 1853. They had three sons and five daughters, named Alve, Andrew, John Thomas, Emily E., Delia Ann, Mary Ann, Martha Jane and Florence Penelope.
