Samuel Franklin White 
Samuel Franklin was born on February 15th, 1887 in Mt. Grove, Missouri.1 Samuel Franklin's father was Reese Potts White and his mother was Sara Ann Kirkland. His paternal grandparents are William White and Martha Valentine Branson; his maternal grandparents were Jonas 'James' G. Kirkland and Minerva Ann Harris. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Wyatt Green, Warren, Minerva Elizabeth, Martha, Mary Ann, Nancy Jane, Flora and Florence. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 79 on January 30th, 1967 in West Monroe, Louisiana. He was buried in Smith Cem., West Monroe, Louisiana.1 1 General Notes
