Homer was born on April 20th, 1882.1 Homer's father was Andrew White and his mother was Cynthia E. Rogers. His paternal grandparents were John White and Sarah "Sally" Varney; his maternal grandparents were Alfred M. Rogers and Margaret P. Vaughn. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Alfred Morgan, Luke, Rosedale, Scott, Edith, Nancy J. and Sallie. He died at the age of 82 on August 30th, 1964.1 General Notes
