Hugh was born on January 29th, 1837 in Indiana.1 Hugh's father was James Warren and his mother is Margaretta Pelts. His paternal grandparents were Hardin Cody Warren and Lydia Johnson. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Hezekiah, John, Michael, William, Joseph, Benjamin, Rhoda, Hannah, Nancy, Sarah, Emily, Lucinda and Jemmia. He died at the age of 99 on April 3rd, 1936 in Johnson Co., Arkansas. He was buried in Union Cemetery, Johnson Co., Arkansas.1 1 General Notes
