Roma was born on December 22nd, 1888 in Roswell, Chaves Co., New Mexico.1 Roma's father was James Trousdel Waldrip and her mother was Alabama Maleance Graham. Her maternal grandparents were William Franklin Smith Graham and Ann Elisor Alley. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William Newton, Riley Sylvester, Sidney Anderson George, George Hasel, Jeff Alvin, Jehu Trousdell, Bessie and Lois Ella. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 22 on September 11th, 1911 in Douglas, Cochise Co., Arizona.
