Roderick Rutland Underwood 
Roderick Rutland was born in 1854.1 Roderick Rutland's father was Reuben Isam Underwood and his mother was Beralbe Spain. His paternal grandparents were Joseph D. Underwood and Winifred Henderson. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin F., Charlse E., William M., John Howard, David C., Reuben Isam, Jr., Mary Ann, Sarah E. and Ida Beatrice. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Joseph, Ezekiel Jackson, Reuben H., James Banks, William Case, Abner D., Mary Louisa, Bathsheba, Margaret and Delila Jane. He died at the age of 73 in 1927.1 General Notes
