Nancy A. was born on April 10th, 1845 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Nancy A.'s father was Abraham Hiram Underwood and her mother is Mary Roark. Her paternal grandparents were Caleb Underwood and Elizabeth Mary Wardrum. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William A., James S., Lewis J., Samuel S., Rev., Abraham Vanzill, Randol Monroe, Cynthia, Elizabeth, Jane, Caroline Nancy and Mary E.. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 71 on March 30th, 1917 in LaRue Co. Kentucky. She was buried in Otter Creek Baptist Cemetery , LaRue Co., Kentycky.1 1 General Notes
