Elizabeth Underwood 
Elizabeth was born in 1834 in Kentucky.1 Elizabeth's father was Abraham Hiram Underwood and her mother is Mary Roark. Her paternal grandparents were Caleb Underwood and Elizabeth Mary Wardrum. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William A., James S., Lewis J., Samuel S., Rev., Abraham Vanzill, Randol Monroe, Cynthia, Jane, Nancy A., Caroline Nancy and Mary E.. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 34 on March 31st, 1868. She was buried in Snow Hill Cemetery, Taylor co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
