George W. Underwood 
George W. was born in 1853 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.1 George W.'s father was Joshua Underwood and his mother is Mary Carlile. His paternal grandparents were Caleb Underwood and Elizabeth Mary Wardrum. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James T., William T., Elizabeth J., Melvina, Matilda and Martha E.. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 76 in 1929 in Danville, Hendricks Co., Indiana.1 General Notes
