James T. Underwood

James T. was born in 1852 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.¹ James T.'s father was Joshua Underwood and his mother is Mary Carlile. His paternal grandparents were Caleb Underwood and Elizabeth Mary Wardrum. He had two brothers and four sisters, named George W., William T., Elizabeth J., Melvina, Matilda and Martha E.. He is the third oldest of the seven children.

‌James T. and Cis were married in a religious ceremony in 1880.¹ They have a daughter named Irene.
