John Madison was born in 1890.1 John Madison's father was Jessie Harris Tutor and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Sexton. His paternal grandparents were William Madison Tutor and Harriet Ligon; his maternal grandparents are John Sexton and Lincinda Utey. He had six brothers and a sister, named William Randall, Sephus E., Wiley Oscar, Oscar Harris, Henry L., James Daniel and Sarah Frances. He is the youngest of the eight children.General Notes
