James Franklin Tutor 
James Franklin was born on August 17th, 1878 in Buckhorn Township, Harnett Co., North Carolina.1 James Franklin's father was James A. Tutor and his mother was Elizabeth A. Dennis. His paternal grandparents were William Madison Tutor and Harriet Ligon. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Alfred Young, Jr., Ennis Albert, Infant, Della Elizabeth, Alice Anna, Ida Love, Lemma W. and Minnie H.. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 69 on May 11th, 1948.1 General Notes
