Cora Irene Turner 
Cora Irene was born on August 2nd, 1874 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 Cora Irene's father was William Thomas Turner and her mother was Henrietta McClain Salmon. Her maternal grandparents were John Anderson Salmon and Mary Ann Tutor. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Harvey Lee, Emmett, William B., T. V. R., John William, Georgia Ann, Mell Donie Victoria, Ollie Oleander, Mary Haywood and Barbara Ann. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 88 on April 2nd, 1963.1 General Notes
