Bobbie Nell was born on January 9th, 1928 in Turnersville, Texas.1 Bobbie Nell's father was James Henry Thomson and her mother was Liza Dee Hollingsworth. Her paternal grandparents were James Bray Thomson and Alice May Rogers. She had two brothers and two sisters, named James Henry,Jr., Terry Lee, Alice Merle and Remona.
