Sarah Jane Graham 
Sarah Jane was born in 1807 in Surry Co., North Carolina.1 Sarah Jane's father was John Graham and her mother was Mary Emmaline Pennington. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Jesse Abner,Rev., Joshua Jehu, John,Jr., David, Gideon, Mary Jane, Jennie and Martha. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 81 on March 12th, 1888 in Lebanon, LaClede Co., Missouri.1 General Notes

Sarah Jane and Alva Anderson were married in a religious ceremony in 1826 in Lebanon, LaClede Co., Missouri.1 They had three sons and seven daughters, named Josiah Sylvester, John Isbell, James K. Polk, Sarah Ann Emaline, Mary Ann, Maria Elizabeth, Jane, Malinda Lucinda, Nancy Vinetta and Harriet Clarica.
