James K. Polk Lamb 
James K. Polk was born on February 1st, 1839 in Lincoln Co., Tennessee.1 James K. Polk's father was Alva Anderson Lamb and his mother was Sarah Jane Graham. His maternal grandparents were John Graham and Mary Emmaline Pennington. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Josiah Sylvester, John Isbell, Sarah Ann Emaline, Mary Ann, Maria Elizabeth, Jane, Malinda Lucinda, Nancy Vinetta and Harriet Clarica. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 36 in August 1875.1 General Notes
