Allen Taylor 
Allen was born on December 13th, 1789 in EDGECOMBE, NC.1 Allen's father was Joseph Taylor and his mother was Sarah Best. He had a brother and six sisters, named Joseph, Frances, Mary Ann, Sarah Best, Elizabeth Ann, Delilah and Charlotte. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
