Sarah Best Taylor 
Sarah Best was born on January 5th, 1800 in EDGECOMBE, NC.1 Sarah Best's father was Joseph Taylor and her mother was Sarah Best. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Allen, Joseph, Frances, Mary Ann, Elizabeth Ann, Delilah and Charlotte. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 38 on January 16th, 1838 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 
Sarah Best and Rene Chastain were married in a religious ceremony on June 6th, 1821 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 They had six sons and six daughters, named James E, Joseph Allen, Irven, William C, Isham C, John W, Nancy, Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Sarah Frances, Polly Ann and Sidnia Ann.
