Henry Ester Tatum 
Henry Ester was born on February 2nd, 1889 in Farmersville, Collin Co., Texas.1 Henry Ester's father was Robert Pikney Tatum and his mother is Emma Eudora Stanford. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Webster Tatum and Rachel Potts; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Stanford and Rachel Newman. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Lee Roy, Robert Emmet, Son, Lottie May, Florence Ethel, Irene, Alma Lorine, Wilma and Essie Jewell. He had a half-brother named Henry. A former longtime Gainsville resident Henry E. Tatum, died in Garland Tu
es day night. He resided at 1922 Castle Dr. in Garland and was a nati
ve of Fa rmersville. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Ge
o. J. Carro ll & Son Chapel. The Rev. Ernest Acker will officiate, with in
terme nt to be in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Survivors are his wife, Bess
ie E. Ta tum; three daughters, and three sons. Dated Wed. March 8, 1978.
Henry is buried in Gainesville, Cook County, Texas
