Mary Ellen Snider 
Mary Ellen was born on July 26th, 1861.1 Mary Ellen's father was Asa Snider and her mother was Mary Lucinda Morrison. Her paternal grandparents were Asa Barton Snider and Ann Uley. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Earl Avery, Ezra Marcus, Barton, Annetta Cornelia and Clara Alice. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 24 in June 1886 in Potosi Township, Linn Co., Kansas.1 General Notes
