William Skaggs

William was born in 1798 in Green Co., Kentucky.¹ William's father was Henry Skaggs and his mother is Sarah Ann Lacefield. His paternal grandparents were Richard Skaggs and Elizabeth Wells. He had a brother and five sisters, named Henry,Jr., Rachel, Susanna, Sarah, Elizabeth and Sedela.
