Benjamin Shorter

Benjamin was born in 1779.¹   Benjamin's father was James Archibald Shorter and his mother is Lucy Childrey.  His paternal grandfather was John, Jr. Shorter and his paternal grandmother is Kindness Unknown. He had four brothers and a sister, named Robert, John, James, Jeremiah and Kindness.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 81 in 1860.¹
