James Madison Satcher

James Madison's father was Robert Newton Satcher and his mother was Sarah Jane McFarland. His maternal grandparents were John Brown McFarland and Flora McCraney. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John Hugh, Paul Simeon, George Robert, Willie Watson, Flora Bertha, Maggie Jane and Sadie Susan. He died in 1926.¹
