Sarah Jane McFarland 
Sarah Jane was born on September 18th, 1859.1 Sarah Jane's father was John Brown McFarland and her mother was Flora McCraney. Her paternal grandparents were John McFarland and Mary Keahey. She had four brothers and six sisters, named George Calvin, William Jackson, John Roderick, Kenneth Virgil, Mary Isabelle, Margaret Jeannette, Ida Katherine, Martha Ella, Vivian Evelyn and Flora Edith. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 86 in 1945.1 General Notes
