James,Jr. Sams 
James,Jr. was born in 1775 in Henry Co., Virginia.1 James,Jr.'s father was James Sams and his mother is Mary Agnes Warren. His maternal grandparents were Hackley Warren and Sarah Shipp. He had five brothers named Warren, John Warren, Lot Lancelot, Reuben and William Hackley. He was the third oldest of the six children.
