Reuben Sams 
Reuben was born in 1786 in Burke Co., North Carolina.1 Reuben's father was James Sams and his mother is Mary Agnes Warren. His maternal grandparents were Hackley Warren and Sarah Shipp. He had five brothers named Warren, John Warren, James,Jr., Lot Lancelot and William Hackley. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 52 in 1838 in Forsyth Co., Georgia.1 General Notes
