James Andrew Salmon 
James Andrew was born on October 26th, 1859 in Randolph, Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 James Andrew's father was John Anderson Salmon and his mother was Mary Ann Tutor. His paternal grandparents are William Salmon and Nancy Smith; his maternal grandparents were John Henry Tutor and Martha Patsy Betts. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Silas A, John Henry, Catherine Loretta, Henrietta McClain, Nancy Sabetha, Penetta A. and Aresta. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 73 on September 24th, 1933 in Morrillton, Arkansas. He was buried in Salmon Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
