Lucy Viola was born on December 13th, 1885 in Hood Co., Texas.1 Lucy Viola's father was Charles Henry Prestridge and her mother was Lulu Fidela Clowdus. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bagley Prestridge and Sarah Adline Williams. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named George Harris, William Bagley, Charles Henry, Jr., Joseph Arron, Earlie Richard, Infant, John Thomas, Rufus Andres Barton, Minnie Ethel, Adelia, Myrtle, Jonnie Maude and Dovie Delina. She is the second oldest of the fourteen children.-
