Edith Evelyn Preston 
Edith Evelyn was born on September 30th, 1911 in Allenville, Moultrie Co., Illinois.1 Edith Evelyn's father was Pendelton Douglas 'PD' Preston and her mother was Sara Goodwin. Her paternal grandparents were Booker Preston and Louisa Asbury. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William Melvin, Carson, Carl R., Raleigh, Bertha, Gladys and Mary Frances. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Cecil Pendleton, Victor Eugene, Nella Cordalane, Elsa A. and Sarah Louise. She died at the age of 76 on February 3rd, 1988. She was buried on February 6th, 1988 in Greenhill Cem., Sullivan, Moultre Co., Illinois.1 1 General Notes
