William Pierce 
William was born on July 3rd, 1805 in Hardin Co., Kentucky.1 William's father is James Pierce and his mother was Elizabeth Skaggs. His maternal grandparents were William Skaggs and Mary Simpson. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, John, George Washington, Milton Paradise, Francis Marion, Polly, Nancy, Lydia and Sally Ann.
