Lora Katherine was born on January 17th, 1924.1 Lora Katherine's father was Joel Levi Parker and her mother was Katherine Isabel McLeod. Her maternal grandparents were Duncan Bardwell McLeod and Martha Ann McLeod. She had a brother and four sisters, named Wilburn Duncan, Annie Lee, Myrtle Mae, Zella Victoria and Hazel Eugenia.
