Peter,Jr. was born in 1815 in Georgia.1 Peter,Jr.'s father was Peter McLeod and his mother was Sarah McCaskill. He had ten brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Roderick, Farquehard, Norman C., Allen, Benjamin, Archabald, John, Kenneth McCaskill, Sweyn, Nancy and Catherine.
