Edgar Murphy

Edgar was born on April 11th, 1905.¹ Edgar's father is Richard C. Murphy and his mother was Olivia Olconia Underwood. His maternal grandfather was Thurston Alexander Underwood and his maternal grandmother is Mamie Emiline Jackson. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Fred, Richard Cloaburn, Oscar C., Frank, Richard C., Alva, Tina Mae and Olivia Ruth. He is the oldest of the nine children.
