Mary Ellen Mize

Mary Ellen was born on November 11th, 1858 in Short Creek, Pulaski Co., Kentucy.¹   Mary Ellen's father was Logan Mize and her mother is Eliza Ann Ping.  Her maternal grandparents are Stephne Ping and Nancy Sewell. She had a brother and a sister, named George B. McCellan and Hannah E..  She is the oldest of the three children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Ora, Edward, Ray, Etta, Livancey and Cora.
