Porter Michael

Porter was born in 1848 in Decatur Co., Indiana.¹ Porter's father is Phillip Michael and his mother was Mahala Beard. His maternal grandparents were Edward Beard and Elizabeth Snider. He has three brothers and two sisters, named Barton, Gideon, Moses, Elizabeth and Mariah. He is the oldest of the six children.
