William Obediah Meador

William Obediah was born on November 13th, 1897.¹   William Obediah's father is General Andrew Jackson Meador and his mother is Ollie P. Ray.  His paternal grandfather was Obediah, Jr. Meador and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Frances Ellis; his maternal grandparents are William T. Ray and Arianna Lester. He had three brothers and three sisters, named General Grant, Jerry Bryant, Claude Swanson, Mattie Lillian, Ollie Courtney and Ora. He had a half-brother and six half-sisters, named Living, Clara Isabell, Virginia Mae, Mary Bertha, Living, Living and Living.  He died at the age of 74 on January 25th, 1972.¹ 

‌William Obediah and Evie Bertha were married in a religious ceremony on April 6th, 1922.¹
